New to the baritone circuit, we have the Fender Limited Edition Player Fusion Jaguar Baritone Special. This extended range Jaguar is ready for all the heavy, crushing riffs with its 27-inch scale length, high-output picks, and not-so-traditional specs, wrapped in a sleek black finish.

The baritone gets its iconic Jaguar body from a solid piece of alder – a time tested and tonal platform Fender has used for decades. It's offset body contours provides plenty of comfort for extented play sessions. Complimenting the body, 3-ply black pickguard and nickel/chrome hardware work extremely well with its blacked out finish. Bolted to the body by 4 screws, a comfy Thin "C" satin maple neck with a contoured neck heel provides fast playability with effortless access to the upper register. The neck is topped with a 12-inch radius ebony fingerboard that is crowned with 22 jumbo frets and is accented with white pearloid dot inlays.

For high-output, crushing sound it's body is loaded with 2 Player II Modified Humbuckers. These specially voiced pickups offer bold, tight lows with a well-defined midrange. Its electronics feature the Spin-A-Split Rhythm circuit and TBX Tone Control modifications. The Spin-A-Spit circuit allows users to blend between full humbucker and split single-coil sounds, while the TBX control allows for precise sculpting of frequencies to dial in the perfect sound. It's control set also includes a master volume, master tone control, and a 3-way toggle switch.

The strings are loaded through the stop tail piece and Adjusto-Matic bridge, rest in the synthetic bone nut slots, and are strung to pitch with the Deluxe Staggered Sealed Locking tuning machines. The headstock features a matching black headcap, a spec we adore on Fender guitars. The Jag is packed in a deluxe gig bag for safe keeping on the go or in storage.
