• No added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds or artificial colours.

Excipients

Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, croscarmellose sodium, dextrin, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.

Warnings:

• Warning that St John's Wort affects the way many prescription medicines work. Please consult with the prescribing doctor to ensure no drug-herb interactions occur.
• Caution is advised in patients taking other medication, including combined oral contraceptives
• Contraindicated during pregnancy, lactation, in hypertension and oedema
• May cause hyperaesthesia in some sensitive individuals, especially when combined with a high exposure to sunlight
• St John's Wort is not advisable in cases of known photosensitivity and in those taking photosensitising agents. Patients taking high doses should avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and UV radiation
• Contraindicated with the following drugs: thiazide or loop diuretics, warfarin, digoxin, immunosuppressive drugs such as cyclosporin, indinavir (HIV protease inhibitor), nevirapine (HIV non-nucleoside transcriptase inhibitor), docetaxel by injection, phenprocoumon, nifedipine, methadone, finasteride, clozapine, cancer chemotherapeutic drugs such as irinotecan and calcium channel antagonists such as verapamil
• Caution is advised in patients receiving prednisolone by injection and in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressives
• Avoid long-term use in patients taking antihypertensive medications and potassium-depleting drugs and place patients on a high-potassium diet
• Consume at least two hours away from ingestion of mineral supplements
• Not to be used in children under five years of age
• Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
