The heart of this creative endeavor is constituted of the mashup of Telecaster and Jazzmaster elements exhibited. This whole experience begins with a contoured, offset Jazzmaster body made of poplar. With a comfortable shape and weight, this body carries with it all the Jazzmaster style needed to deliver on the name. A “C”-shaped maple neck joins the poplar body and is matched with an Indian laurel fingerboard bearing twenty-one Narrow Tall frets. This neck, easily slipped in hand and quickly fretted with the Narrow Tall fret size, makes for articulate and accurate playing across the 9.5” radius.

For a different kind of Fender single-coil voice, this Paranormal model features Fender Designed alnico single-coil pickups – Telecaster and Jazzmaster. Between these two unique tones, players have the option to mix them together as well as set them for in-series or parallel wiring with the use of a push/pull tone knob. Utilizing this knob to swap between in and out of phase tonality, the Tele and Jazz single-coils sing with new voices with the turn of a dial and the flip of a switch. A 3-Saddle Vintage-Style Strings-Through-Body Tele bridge and Vintage Style tuning machines top off this whole experience for a solidly playable instrument.
