The NGX-1 is an intelligent gateway that converts NMEA 0183 data to NMEA 2000 (and vice versa), allowing you to share information between devices from the two standards. This creates the possibility of upgrading some of the vessel’s electronics to NMEA 2000 and keeping the remaining NMEA 0183 devices. This can help spread the cost of transitioning to NMEA 2000, reducing the initial upgrade cost to accommodate a new NMEA 2000 device. 

The ISO variant connects easily to NMEA 0183 devices with a dedicated pair of data wires for transmit and receive, allowing the NGX-1 to share data bi-directionally if required. OPTOIsolation is included on the input and groundbreaking ISO-DriveTM technology is on the output to keep your devices safe from hazardous ground loops. 

The USB Variant allows for quick and easy connectivity to a PC running software that requires NMEA 0183 data.

Thanks to the device being low power, it is powered directly from the NMEA 2000 network, removing the requirement for an independent power supply. 

The Actisense NGX-1 also makes it possible to send and receive NMEA 2000 data safely between a PC and an NMEA 2000 network. This creates the possibility of feature-rich software applications replacing or complementing dedicated hardware such as a Multifunction Display (MFD) or Chart Plotter. 

Acting as an NMEA 2000 to PC Gateway allows the device to act as a rule-enforcing firewall between the PC and the network, giving the user full control over what data is passed and blocked. The NGX is capable of transferring every currently available NMEA 2000 PGN from the network to a PC application.

Great product, dislike new 43oz size
Works well. Prefer the “fizzy” formula over all others. I recommend adding powder to your cup, fill 30-50% with cold water, then use a small handheld milk frother to blend. It’ll “foam” then settle, add you can add more water. (If you fill the whole cup with water right away it’ll overflow when it foams up.) I prefer to drink it quickly, before it starts to thicken into a heavy gel/paste. 3 star rating for 2 reasons: 1) Strongly dislike the food coloring! 2) They recently changed container size and shape. It used to be a 29oz cylinder, now it’s 43oz and more like a tub. The new format is too large for my kitchen vitamin drawer + too wide and heavy to grab with one hand. (I’ve included side by side pics here - didn’t think to take them until I’d already removed the 43oz label for recycling.) I saved my last 29oz canister and I’ve been decanting powder from the 43oz, keeping the 43oz in pantry storage.

The best no sugar natural fiber
Even if you have no problems with your dietary system, fiber is an excellent way to protect your lower GI system. I use the no sugar version as I want the fiber, but I want the extra carbs in the regular version. Regular no sugar is fine, and has no problems with taste. Every so often, I treat myself to this better stevia sweetened version. I don’t take either one 3 times a day, as recommended, but I do take it every morning. Read the labels of your fiber supplement products, if you take them. Very few give you the amount of fiber that this does, and you control exactly how much fiber you want. If you read up on the benefits of adding to your daily fiber intake, you will wonder why you haven’t been adding this to your daily healthy supplements This is a very effective way to protect yourself, and most other products don’t come close!
