• No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, artificial flavours or colours

Excipients

Rice bran oil, Berry flavour, dl-alpha-tocopherol, vegetable oil, Stevia rebaudiana.

Warning:

• Cautioned with calcium channel blockers as vitamin D supplementation may reduce the effectiveness of these drugs
• Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet
• Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
• Contains trace amounts of sulphur dioxide
• If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice

Interaction:

• Phenytoin and valproate induce catabolism of vitamin D through liver induction
• Prolonged use of phenytoin and valproate is associated with an increased risk of developing rickets and osteomalacia
• Supplemental vitamin D is advised in patients taking phenytoin and valproate
• It is recommended to test vitamin D serum levels to guide dosage
