At its base, the S2 McCarty 594 Thinline plays similarly to its non-thinline brethren. Starting out with a thin, all-mahogany body, the 594 Thinline harnesses all the sonic goodness and acoustic resonance of the tonewood to establish its baseline experience. The thinline body design adds an extra ergonomic element to the guitar, alongside its classic PRS asymmetric bevel top carve. When combined with a scarfed mahogany neck in a PRS Pattern Thin profile, this guitar comes together in hand seamlessly. The set mahogany is matched with a twenty-two-fret rosewood fingerboard with faux bone binding that tops off both a streamlined playing and distinct aesthetic experience.
