RAM-B-166-A-300U – RAM® Power Plate™ III Radar Detector Mount with Suction Cup Base (Short Arm)

The RAM-B-166-A-300U holds a radar detector on your windscreen using RAM's magnetic Power Plate™ III, a twist-lock suction cup base and a short double socket arm that keeps the detector tucked in close. The magnet lets you twist the detector off when you park, and the suction base moves between vehicles in seconds. This is the short-arm version; a medium-arm (RAM-B-166-300U) and a long-arm (RAM-B-166-C-300U) are also available.

• Magnetic Power Plate™ III holds the detector with two rare earth magnets and an adhesive steel plate; twist to remove
• RAM® Twist-Lock™ suction base grips glass and other smooth, non-porous surfaces, including RAM adhesive disks
• Short double socket arm keeps the detector close to the glass; ball-and-socket design allows near-infinite positioning
• Larger plate than the Power Plate II, so it suits bigger detectors

FAQs

Will the magnet harm my device? Don't use the magnetic holder with any device containing an internal hard drive, as the magnet may damage the drive.

Which arm length should I choose? This is the short (60mm) arm. For more reach choose the medium-arm RAM-B-166-300U or the long-arm RAM-B-166-C-300U.
