It has gorgeous grain and hints of spalting. The color is a warm brown that is rather, well, peachy! It has a minor branch coming off the bottom of the blank. You may be able to turn several small bowls or other pieces out of this blank if you cut it in half. There is some very pretty swirling grain associated with the branch crotch

UFO Peach Bowl Blank Ph-432 3" x 6" x 12.5" 4.5 lbs. This is a sizeable bowl blank of Texas-grown UFO Peach wood. It has gorgeous grain and hints of spalting. The color is a warm brown that is rather, well, peachy! It has a minor branch coming off the bottom of the blank. You may be able to turn several small bowls or other pieces out of this blank if you cut it in half. There is some very pretty swirling grain associated with the branch / crotch area. There is some spalting and bug-assisted decay, but the wood has plenty of integrity. There are also some minor drying checks. You may want to touch up with CA glue as you go. This wood was from a tree grown in Katy, Texas. It died during the Valentine's Day freeze of 2021. We cut and sealed it with Anchor Seal shortly after it died, then let it rest and spalt for about a year before processing it. We have very limited quantities of this unusual-to-Texas wood. This is a GREEN to partially air-dried bowl blank, meaning that it still retains a lot of its original moisture from when it was a living tree. It has been well-sealed on all surfaces with Anchor Seal and is in the process of slowly drying. It has been heat-treated to eliminate any gnawing critters. It was measured at ~25% MC in May 2022. Well Made, Runs A Little Small
I bought this on short notice for a drag show. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but it exceeded my expectations in a lot of ways. The interior feels like the inside of a standard suit coat, and is comfortable for long term wear. The sequins are sewn on in a pattern, and there's little, if any, fallout. I've only found a couple sequins on the floor.
I've used it a lot since the drag show, for a lot of things (live streams, videos, etc). Absolutely worth the price, and I've already gotten my money's worth out of it.
It does run a little small, but it still mostly fits according to the size chart.
A few notes:
- It doesn't have button holes, so if you're looking for something that buttons up, look elsewhere.
- Washing instructions say to machine wash cool, warm iron (do not tumble dry, do not dry clean). I'd say run it on the gentlest cycle you can muster, or just spot clean stains and the pits (if you're sweaty). I don't know how well this thing would survive a wash, but I haven't needed to wash it yet.

Showstopper
We got so many compliments on our outfits. I wore this for our Daddy/Daughter dance and plan to take it on a cruise later this year. The jacket is great quality and a little on the heavy side with all the sequins. It fit perfect in the shoulders and chest. It was a little long on the sleeves for my taste but I just tucked them under and managed for the night. For reference I’m 5’10” tall and 175lbs with athletic build. I bought a large.

Missing Sequins and Threadbare!

Jacket is great for fit, and is overall okay, but there are large patches where no sequins are attached! For the $59.99 price I paid, I am definitely feeling very disappointed in the quality of the jacket. Of course, I didn’t realize this till after the return window closed! If you order, do yourself the favor and check to make sure the jacket is in good quality!
