It reached number 7 in the UK charts, making it the highest charting single from the debut album. • It was aided by the band performing the song live at the Brit Awards on 16th February at Alexandra Palace, to a TV audience of 9 million homes. • B-side "The Big Time" did not appear on the "Suede" album.
