The AEM 22-482P Performance Short Ram Air Intake System has been engineered to be an affordable and easy way to boost the horsepower and torque of your engine. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced with this AEM air intake system which was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific Mazda Miata models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The sound your engine makes when accelerating is also modified to a fuller, more aggressive resonance allowing you to hear and feel the horsepower upgrade. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable chrome-like finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the mass airflow sensor, inlet air temperature sensor, ventilation hose and purge solenoid valve. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. Been doing great since 2020
Used this to replace the charging solenoid on my diesel motorhome. Originally used a White-Rodgers OEM relay and it only lasted about 18 months. This has been going strong since 2020 and I use my motorhome about 10 months out of the year with lots of miles.

Buy something better
This relay has experienced failure again after just a couple of months of use. It's not the mag coil that fails but rather the contacts are of such low quality that they corrode beyond their ability to conduct power, and fast. I have had to change two of these so far and am on the third one. The seller will ship replacements but who wants to keep replacing them? I have to travel in my RV with a spare. This relay has never been exposed to the elements. It's safely mounted inside a sealed bay. Be aware of any brands that look like this, they are all the same.
