She was coming from a winegrower family in Chateauneuf du Pape and brought some vines in her dowry.

About the winery:
Clos Du Mont-Olivet has been created in 1932 by Seraphin Sabon after his marriage to Marie Jausset. She was coming from a winegrower family in Chateauneuf-du-Pape and brought some vines in her dowry.
The 50 hectares vineyard is located in the South of Rhone Valley, France. 21 hectares belong to the prestigious appellation of Chateauneuf-Du-Pape, and Seraphin owns some of the most thought after plots such as "Palistor" and "Chemin de Sorgues".
The orientation of the vineyards, the local climates, and the soils are all extremely varied and allow one to adapt the varietal to the particular plot or to play on the diverse expression of the same varietal.
