The top is a beautiul, snow white High Altitude Swiss Sitka Spruce. This premium top wood not only adds to the sonic character, but it provides a stark contrast to the Wild Grain East Rosewood back and side set.

This premium top wood not only adds to the sonic character, but it provides a stark contrast to the Wild Grain East Rosewood back and side set. The back is stunning, like nothing we've ever seen before. From light tan to dark chocolate, with an almost insect-like bookmatched wild-grain pattern. Note the layers of rosewood waterfalls you could just stare at for days.

The 12 Fret 00 construction places the bridge a bit further behind the soundhole, more centralized between the crossing of the X brace and the end block. Vibrations drive deep into this slightly more elastic area of the top, in comparison to 14 fret construction. The end results include a wider frequency response and higher volume cap. The slotted peghead also lends to the tone with its sharper string break angle behind the nut.
