Description:
Is being colorblind the most effective way to address overt and covert racism in schooling today? Should educators pretend that race doesn™t matter?Ă‚Â
Award-winning sociologist Laurie Cooper Stoll argues that, as long as society is stratified along racial lines, taking a colorblind approach will never end racial inequalities in schooling. Educators must strive to be color-conscious and actively engage in antiracism if they want to address prejudice and discrimination in education and the wider society. If not, they end up perpetuating racial inequity and white supremacy, whether intentionally or not.
Drawing on her research and professional development with educators as well as her experience as a publicly elected school board member, Stoll illustrates the complexities, contradictions, and consequences of colorblindness in schools and provides concrete suggestions for people coming to racial justice work in education from multiple entry points.

Just ok.
Size: Large, Color: Bright Poppy Red
It’s ok. The fabric isn’t very soft. I expected the color to be more of a coral/pink red. But it’s a red with an orange undertone. Quality is what you expect for $10. I did like the neckline though. It was flattering.

New wardrobe staple for me!
Size: Medium, Color: Navy
I had been buying a similar top at a high price retailer and they were out of navy. Saw this and purchased it. It is actually better quality than the ones I purchased elsewhere for 3xs the price. Super soft and an excellent capsule wardrobe piece to wear alone or under a cardigan or jacket for work.

Perfect First Sneakers for Toddler!
Size: 10 Little Kid, Color: Peri
I bought the Saucony Jazz Hook & Loop sneakers in Peri for my 3-year-old, and they’ve been fantastic! The hook-and-loop straps make them super easy to put on and take off, which is a lifesaver with a wiggly toddler. The fit is true to size, and they’re lightweight yet sturdy, providing great support for little feet. This is actually the second pair i have ordered of this exact style b/c she out grew the first.
The design is adorable, and the color is vibrant without being too flashy. The quality is excellent—they’ve held up well to daily wear and play.
Overall, these are the perfect first sneakers for active little ones. Highly recommend!

Cute and sturdy sneakers
Size: 9.5 Little Kid, Color: Peri
I purchased these when ym daughter was 4 and starting pre-k. They lasted the entire school year, but she does have small feet. The size chart was very accurate. I purchased a 9.5, and she didn't complain about her feet hurting in these shoes until it was time to size up to a 10 in her other shoes. She said they were comfortable, and she liked the colors. I could probably clean them pretty easily for a new owner as she did not wear them out. She only wore them when absolutely necessary, so they aren't too worn.
