This pattern is my own original design. I've modified it slightly to accommodate the chunky velvet yarn in this kit. The pumpkin is a quick and easy knit! A great seasonal knit project for all you pumpkin lovers!

Create your own pumpkin patch without ever getting your hands dirty. The kit includes enough yarn to knit one medium-sized pumpkin about 5-inches wide and about 3-inches high (without stem).

The yarn used is a velvet bulky yarn in 4 colors: golden moss, olive, mushroom and pumpkin. In addition, the kit includes my Pumpkin Patch pattern, a real pumpkin stem (to be glued to the top of the pumpkin) and a coordinating button for the blossom-end (to be hand sewn to the bottom of the pumpkin).

NOTE: Each real pumpkin stem will be different than the photos shown, because of Mother Nature and all her glory, no two stems are alike. Also, the buttons chosen for the bottom blossom-end are all different and will coordinate with the yarn color.

If desired, an optional idea, a decorative velvet ribbon, hand-stamped with "happy fall" can be tied to your pumpkin stem.

Skill Level: Intermediate Knitter, requires double point needle experience.

The kit includes: Pumpkin Patch pattern, bulky velvet yarn, a real pumpkin stem, and a button.

The kit does not include: size 7 double point needles, polyester stuffing, hot glue for stem, chenille needle.
