The "Blue" aspect of the Protein Dual Overdrive V3 is essentially a deeply modified version of a Bluesbreaker circuit. Packed with plenty of headroom, this transparent drive can achieve any level of brightness by adjusting the gain while being able to soften by modulating the tone control. It can also be employed as a clean boost by decreasing the gain and elevating the level. The "Green" aspect is an emulation of the coveted ODR-1 circuit, but it's far from being a carbon copy. Equipped with enhanced mids, lower end, and a reconfigured power section with a decreased gain structure, this adaptable drive circuit can easily navigate from low to mid to high gain, sustaining clarity and concentration irrespective of the knob positions.
