The "Blue" side of the Protein Dual Overdrive V3 mirrors a significantly modified Bluesbreaker circuit. It encompasses an ample headroom that ensures a clear drive, capable of intensifying brightness with increased gain or dampening it by reducing the tone control. You can also repurpose it as a clean boost by minimizing the gain and maximizing the level. The "Green" side mimics the highly sought-after ODR-1 circuit, albeit without being an exact copy. Furnished with increased mids, lower end, and a revamped power section featuring a lower gain structure, this versatile drive circuit can effortlessly transition from low to mid to high gain, all the while preserving clarity and focus regardless of knob settings.
