- The DUKW is an American-developed amphibious vehicle.
- DUKW's engine and drive-related parts are the same as those of the CCKW 353 truck, with a boat-shaped body equipped with a 3-axle 6-wheel undercarriage and a screw propeller for water navigation at the rear of the body.
- The vehicle can move at a maximum speed of 80 km/h on roads and 10 km/h on water, and can carry 25 soldiers or 2.5 tons of cargo on land and 50 soldiers or 5 tons of cargo on water. It was possible to run/navigate
- The DUKW, which has high seaworthiness enough to cross the English Channel by itself, was active in the Normandy landing operation and was also used in the Pacific War.
- Some of the vehicles provided to the Allies were used until the 1980s, such as being operated in the Korean War after the war.
- Ultimately, more than 21,000 vehicles were produced, and vehicles sold to the private sector after the war were used by firefighting organizations and the Coast Guard, and were active in disaster relief.

Negative reviews are misleading it definitely works just fine.

Noticed the only negative reviews were because the hooks would not fit and was sort of concerned about that, but I figured it might be one of those things where it’s the person’s fault not the product. Sure enough it was. The hook fits, yea you have to push it in there with a slight bit of force, but it definitely does fit. What those people don’t realize is that by design the hooks are like that to keep a firm hold onto the tray itself. I found it funny how mad people were about that when really it’s very very simple to make it work. Nice product sticks well, seems sturdy.

Good product, lousy instructions

This is a good product with terrible instructions. I’ve used this adhesive strip before so I know how to install the basket & how to remove the strip. To get a snug fit position one of the basket's vertical wires in the middle of one of the horizontal bars then press down hard until you hear it snap into place, it’s now snug & will not tip over. To remove the adhesive strip I used a putty knife & wiggled it underneath the strip until I had loosened & lifted enough of it to get a good grip & pull the rest off. Mine is installed on a ceramic tile back splash not in the sink so this method did not damage the tile, can't say what it would do to stainless steel. I'm a 72 y/o woman with arthritis, if I can get the adhesive off anyone can.

Works well, but very difficult to remove!

Perspective: Ive had this caddy for 3 years and it has suited me well. Over time the hooks that hold the caddy in place loosened and the caddy would occasionally fall off the side of the sink wall. Not a huge deal, just a small inconvenience. Over time it started to happen more often because the plastic hooks completely lost their grip so I decided to replace it. Well it literally took me 3 days to get it off of the side of my sink. Using different tools to jimmy it off because the adhesive is sooo strong (which is a good thing, until you are looking to remove it). It took a razor blade and several bouts of goo gone to get the whole thing off as well as the leftover adhesive. The fact that it lasted for 3 years is a testament that it is a good product, but it lost several stars for the drama and pain and suffering it took to remove. I wont be buying another one.

Good For Deep Sinks

This item is very sturdy however the piece on the outside that holds your rag tends to slip or lay flat all the time. The adhesive is very strong to the point where I needed to use a tool to get it off while moving, so you’ll never have to worry about it popping off your sink! I can only figure that this fits in all sinks because at my old apartment I had a very small sink the only thing I didn’t like due to having a small sink my rag was always touching the bottom of the sink and there wasn’t any space left in the side I had it on. If you have a big sink I’d suggest this item because it looks nice and it gives your wash cloth and sponge a home in the kitchen!
