He began scouring the famous Military and Americana markets in Osaka throughout the 90’s and early 00’s, buying and collecting pieces with feeling and a story. Once the products were in hand, he began working on creating Orslow as a contemporary and modern day replica of the best everyday clothing products ever made. The name "Orslow" was born of a subtle criticism of the contemporary trend towards fast fashion.
