When to Replace

Installation Tips

• Always perform refills in a well-ventilated outdoor area away from flames or ignition sources.
• To facilitate transfer, place the source tank in a warmer location and chill the empty 1 lb cylinder for several minutes before filling.
• Ensure the source tank is placed upside down to transfer liquid propane.
• Connect the QCC1 fitting to the large tank and the 1" x 20 thread to the 1 lb bottle. Hand-tighten all connections.
• Slowly open the valve on the large tank, then use the adapter's control valve to start the flow.
• Monitor the filling process and close both valves once complete. Do not overfill; 80% capacity is recommended for safety.
• Check all connections for leaks with a soapy water solution before and after refilling.
