Although the cake is traditionally inspired by a famous candy known as caramel 'Golden Key' - we have combined our own flavors into the cake to create an exceptionally luxurious dessert.
The cake sponge layers combine pecan nuts, almond flour and wildflower honey to bring you the most beautiful caramel blonde flavors and colors. The mixed soft and nutty texture is just divine.
What about the dulce de leche? The deep caramel buttercream is made from our house made dulce de leche. Six cake layers have a thin layer of this lovely buttercream.
The decor is a simple yet elegant finish on this graceful cake. Stroopwafels, dulce de leche drizzles and chopped pecan nuts.

The Saffron Café exclusively utilises organic free-range eggs, and organic unbleached flour. Everything is made to order to maximise freshness.
