Compatibility & Fitment

This control knob is a standard replacement for many gas ranges and cooktops manufactured by Frigidaire. Key compatible brands include:

  • Frigidaire: Fits a wide range of freestanding and slide-in gas ranges, including the Gallery and Professional series.
  • Kenmore / Sears: Compatible with many 790-prefix and 253-prefix gas range models.
  • Tappan & Crosley: Direct fit for various economy and mid-tier gas stoves utilizing the 316220009 part standard.
  • Note: This knob is for the Surface Burners only. It is not intended for use as an oven thermostat or timer knob, which often have different stem orientations or diameters.

When to Replace

  • Stripped Internal Stem: The knob spins freely without turning the actual gas valve, making it impossible to light or adjust the burner.
  • Cracked Mounting Port: Visible stress fractures on the plastic D-ring on the back of the knob, which can cause the knob to fall off or feel "mushy" during use.
  • Melted or Warped Housing: Heat from a large pot or an oven door left ajar has deformed the plastic, affecting the aesthetic or preventing the knob from turning fully to the "Off" position.
  • Faded Graphics: The temperature and safety markings have worn off due to frequent cleaning, creating a safety hazard by making it difficult to tell if the gas is fully off.

Installation Tips

  • Safety First: Ensure all burners are turned to the "Off" position before beginning. For maximum safety, you can unplug the range to prevent the electronic igniters from clicking while you work.
  • Straight Pull Removal: PRO TIP: Pull the old knob straight toward you. If it is stuck, you can slide a piece of string or a thin cloth behind the knob and pull both ends together to provide even pressure without scratching the control panel.
  • Check the Stem Orientation: Before pressing the new knob on, look at the "D" shape of the valve stem. Align the flat side of the knob’s internal port with the flat side of the metal stem to avoid cracking the new part.
  • Cleaning the Valve: While the knob is off, wipe down the metal valve stem and the control panel surface with a degreaser. Built-up grease can cause the new knob to stick or become hard to turn.
  • Firm Pressure: Push the new knob firmly onto the stem until it sits flush with the other knobs on the panel. Test the "Lite" and "Off" positions to ensure it rotates smoothly through the full range.

Fluffy and Nice Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
… this would have made 5 stars but for 2 reasons. A.) there were quite a few typos; misspelled words, missing quotations, “the his” mistakes, and various signs that maybe a proofread would do good. B.) the writing was quite textbook. Late blooming omega is struggling with her new self, finds a absurdly wealthy pack of alphas, every thing is almost insta-love but she resists, then decides to love herself and let everyone be happy. Rian was my favourite (obviously the author’s favourite too because he got the most page time) but I wish we could see more of his CEO side? He went to work maybe ONCE the entire time. Gray was supposed to be the “growly one” but he turned out to be puppy dog. Lucas was a genius brainiac doctor - but also super alpha with an aggressive hindbrain with a breeding k*nk?? And then there was no actual “breeding”?? Spice 3/5 - normally omegaverse books are super high on messy smut but this was tamer. Romance 3/5 - insta-love that was then resisted because of personal hangup’s Plot 2/5 - weird paced head hopping, showing the same scene from different POV’s that made me feel like it was 2 steps backward, 1 step forward. Humour 4/5 - there were a dozen lines that genuinely made me chuckle out loud Would have been five stars but the lack of proofreading and the predictable plot made me unable to get up to ADORED IT level - four stars is still and official ENJOYED IT, y’all. This isn’t a bad rating. The “Club Heat” has intriguing possibilities so I’m going to give the second one a shot.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.
