1950年代頃のBARCLAYのペーパークリップチェーンチョーカー。

長めのアジャスター付きのため、最長約40cmのネックレスとしても着用していただけます。

その名の通りペーパークリップの形状をした重厚感のあるチェーンが連なる、お洒落なデザイン。程よい重みが、ヴィンテージらしさを感じさせます。

約70年以上も前のお品でありながら、現代においても洗練された佇まいを放つタイムレスな一品。

存在感がありながら、上品なライトゴールドの色味で肌馴染みも良いネックレスです。

メタル表面に細かな傷や若干のくすみが見られますが、全体的には良好なヴィンテージコンディションです。

【BARCLAY(バークレイ)とは】
1911年に設立されたThe New England Glasswork Companyが1947年に社名変更し、Barclay Jewely Inc.となったコスチュームジュエリーブランド。フィリグリー細工を施したメタルに様々な形のラインストーンをセッティングした作品が代表的。社名変更した後～1950年代の作品は特にクオリティが高く、現在もコレクターに特に人気があります。ブランドは1957年に閉業しました。
