Sasanokawa expanded into whisky in the 1940s, long before the start of Japan’s whisky boom, and Yamazakura represents the premium tier of their whisky range. The name says it all: Yama means mountain, Sakura means cherry tree — and the label design brings both to life. Previously exclusive to Japan, Yamazakura is now available internationally following Sasanokawa’s partnership with Les Whiskies du Monde. Bottled at 40% ABV.
