The Fender Player Plus Stratocaster HSS introduces an alternative pickup configuration to the mix along with its iconic double-cutaway alder body for a new take on humbucking and single-coil pickup setups. A classic Fender maple neck in a Modern "C"-shaped profile is quick to pick up and begin playing. In addition to the neck, Fender's maple and pau ferro fingerboard feature rolled edges for speedy trips up and down higher and lower frets. Like its three single-coil sibling, the Stratocaster HSS comes equipped with Fender Player Plus Noiseless single-coil pickups – producing iconic Fender cleans with no hum – as well as a humbucking pickup in the bridge position. This higher-output pickup can be pushed for high-octane tones or, using its push/pull pot, can be split to produce single-coil tones. A synchronized tremolo bridge, locking tuners, and a handful of new Player Plus finishes to choose from, this Player Plus Strat gets players ready to take on new tonal quests.
