The Mirror Clamp Base with 1" Ball is designed to mount to the lip edge of a flat surface up to 15.875mm / 5/8" thick. Popular mounting edges include a car side window edge lip or glare shield on an aeroplane. The base has two composite bolts that, when tightened, clamp the base to the lip surface. A RAM 1" diameter rubber ball is connected to the base allowing you to connect a RAM 1" diameter arm socket and connection plates to create the perfect mount for your application.

The universal camera and camcorder base, is a 1" diameter rubber ball, connected to a 64mm / 2.5" diameter round plate with 1/4"-20 camera thread. The round plate provides extra support and stability for cameras that rest on top of it. The male 1/4"-20 threaded steel stud will connect to any standard female thread found on camcorders and digital cameras.

The medium length double socket arm, has a socket at both ends that accommodates B Size 1" balls. A single spring inside the arm, keeps the socket open, allowing you to insert the ball in to the socket connection. RAM's socket technology allows for almost infinite adjustment to achieve the perfect viewing angle.
