The heat treated center balls are cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication and the joint internals are retained with 2 heavy duty, heat treated side washers and a snap ring. This specific joint is a 2 1/2 in. diameter, fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing, 2 1/4 in. of 1 in.-14 left hand threads on the shank, and a 2.812 in. mounting width ball with a .750 in. thru bolt hole. Sling back shoes but sling doesn’t stay up

Strap on shoe that is the sling back doesn’t stay on. Keeps sliding off. I bought in size 8.1/2 which I usually wear. Too big. So I exchanged for an 8. And same problem. Slung back strap isn’t tight enough and falls down. The style is really nice so I’m disappointed they didn’t work.
