LS100MT Enhanced Kit — 100mm Universal Day & Night Modular Telescope Premium FPL53 ED triplet optics. Full imaging capability. Four eyepieces. Two telescopes in one.

Now with new-generation etalons — every unit individually tested on Lunt's precision metrology equipment. Every specification is verified, not estimated.

The LS100MT Enhanced Kit represents the pinnacle of Lunt's modular telescope design. The 100mm f/7 FPL53 ED triplet objective with ion-assisted broadband AR coatings delivers exceptional colour correction and contrast in both solar and nighttime modes. The internal pressure-tuned etalon delivers 0.45Å verified bandpass through Doppler True Barometric Pressure Tuning, and the modular design allows complete removal of the H-alpha system for nighttime deep-sky observation. Two telescopes in one, with no compromise in either mode.

This imaging-focused package pairs the LS100MT with the B1800 blocking filter, providing 18mm of clear aperture that fully illuminates full-frame sensors without vignetting, alongside a complete four-eyepiece flat-field set covering every visual magnification from full-disk surveys to high-power active region detail.

What You'll See

By day: the hydrogen-alpha chromosphere at a level of detail that only 100mm of premium optics can deliver. The FPL53 triplet brings out the finest chromospheric structure with the colour correction and contrast that serious observers demand. Prominences with internal threading and flow detail. Filaments with multi-strand complexity. Active regions with the full depth of their magnetic architecture revealed.

Four eyepieces cover every target and condition. The 8mm (~87x on the LS100MT) pushes resolution to the limit when seeing cooperates. The 12mm and 16mm provide the working magnifications for detailed surface observation. The 19mm pulls back for full-disk context and prominence surveys. All four share consistent 60° apparent fields and 0.1% AR coatings.

By night: remove the H-alpha module and you have a premium 100mm f/7 FPL53 ED triplet refractor. The same glass, the same ion-assisted coatings, the same focuser, the same mount — delivering exceptional lunar, planetary, and deep-sky performance.

Why This Package

The LS100MT is a different class of instrument. Premium FPL53 ED triplet optics. Modular day/night design. If you are investing in 100mm of aperture, this is the optical system that does it justice. The B1800 blocking filter with 18mm clear aperture is purpose-matched to this telescope's imaging potential — full-frame sensor coverage without vignetting, combined with ZWO EAF-compatible focuser for motorised control during imaging sessions. Four dedicated eyepieces ensure the visual experience matches the optical quality. And like all Lunt 100mm systems, the Enhanced is fully double-stack capable — add the SFPT module at any time to bring combined system bandpass to <0.28Å.

Package Includes

  • LS100MT OTA: 100mm aperture, 700mm f/7 FPL53 ED triplet. Ion-assisted broadband AR coatings. Internal pressure-tuned etalon (Doppler True), 0.45Å bandpass. Modular design for day/night use.
  • B1800 Blocking Filter: 18mm clear aperture. Full-frame sensor coverage without vignetting.
  • 2" R&P Focuser (10:1): Dual-speed with 10:1 fine focus reduction. ZWO EAF compatible for motorised focus control.
  • Solar Handle w/ Red Dot Finder: Integrated tube ring assembly. Built-in solar finder stays permanently aligned.
  • 8" Vixen Dovetail: Extended rail for proper balance on equatorial and alt-az mounts.
  • Hard Case: Aluminium hard case with custom-fit foam insert.
  • Eyepiece Set (8, 12, 16, 19mm): Complete flat-field set. All 1.25" barrels. 60° FOV. 0.1% AR coatings.

    Wow!
    Format: Kindle
This book was awesome! Seraphina and her family have moved to a new town. Her family is a bit... odd. She grew up learning how to protect herself from people who might hurt her. Bloodshed is a daily occurrence with her brothers and parents during their practice sessions, and it’s all fun and games unless you need to hide a body. Sera’s family is very close, and she’s been homeschooled most of her life. But in this new town she is going to start regular school as a senior at the local high school. Unfortunately, things at her school aren’t all they seem to be. Or perhaps more than they seem to be. Sera has her own demons to deal with, and she’s terrified her new friends will learn about her weird family and other issues and drop her like a rock. It turns out they have their own secrets as well. This story ends on a bit of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next one! This book is well written and well edited. The heroine is spunky and has a great heart and wicked sense of humor.

    Great start
    Format: Kindle
I loved this book! It's funny but still deals with tough themes, like chronic illness, a serial killer on the loose, and a dash of self-harm. The guys are interesting and distinct, we don't know too much about them yet. It does end on a really terrible cliffhanger but on the bright side the next book is out and I believe the series is complete. I have enjoyed both of these authors separately and this is a great team up!

    Fudge!
    Format: Kindle
Titles aren’t my strong suit. Sorry not sorry. That ending has me completely frustrated book two isn’t out yet. Just throwing that out there. First thing first, this is a high school book where the lead is under 18. Yea yea she’s about month from being an adult, but I can’t say I would’ve even opened the file if I’d realized. It’s not a smut fest or anything, but there is sexual tension as each party figures out their emotions. That being said, it’s a good book. There are some troubling parts, like how the supes come into their powers at 13, but most of those are dealt with in a way that makes sense. Kian is the exception. His whole arc pisses me off, especially since no one stepped in. Reflecting back on real world situations, ten or so years ago, I can see it happening, but it still makes me sick. Which, I’m sure was the whole damn point. For the most part, Courting Darkness is a fun read. I found myself laughing along with most of the set up. By the time it started getting serious, I’d grown to like the characters enough it held an impact. I’ll be adding book two to my list for when it comes out.

    Intriguing
    Format: Kindle
An intriguing story that played out slowly while introducing some unique characters. The story became quite fascinating to read as these same characters provided startling revelations to their lives. As their relationships evolve, more drama and mystery is revealed adding to my fascination. I can’t wait to read more.

    Outstanding Story!!!!!!!
    Format: Kindle
Oh I loved this story. Sera is such an amazing, fun character. She has so much fire inside of herself. She has humor that makes you laugh with her sassy comments. The guys are fantastic. I don’t feel as if we really have gotten to know who and what they are but they are such a mix of fae. The story is extremely well written and developed. It had me pulled in and didn’t let go. There was so much action, drama, and suspense. Then we get to the ending and goodness there is so much going on. This ending was a major cliffhanger and I absolutely can’t wait to see what happens next.
