Crafting Gran Centenario Leyenda Extra Anejo Tequila begins with cooking agave in traditional stone ovens. After crushing, the sweet juice is naturally fermented and double-distilled. The tequila is aged in new American oak barrels, a process that imparts a darker color and complex flavors. The final product is the result of a selective blend of their finest aged spirits, handpicked by the master blender. The spirit is then rested for up to five years (hence 'Gran Reserva'), during which the Leyenda develops its distinguished and deeper flavor profile.
