Limited Loser Edition on Coke-bottle clear and orange vinyl. Sub Pop marks the 30th anniversary of Six Finger Satellite's sophomore album, Severe Exposure, with an expanded double-LP edition of the album.

In addition to the original album, Severe Exposure: Deluxe Edition includes a bonus 12" of the 1994 Machine Cuisine EP, and a download of 17 additional songs, including rare singles, compilation tracks, and unreleased material.

All the material has been freshly mastered by JJ Golden, and the vinyl is packaged in a lovely slipcase with individual jackets for each LP. Formed in 1990 in Providence, Rhode Island by J. Ryan (singer/keyboards), John MacLean (guitar), Peter Phillips (guitar), Chris Dixon (bass), and Rick Pelletier (drums), Six Finger Satellite quickly signed to Sub Pop for the Weapon EP. Shortly thereafter, they released their landmark 1993 debut, The Pigeon Is the Most Popular Bird, and then, in 1995, Severe Exposure.

Severe Exposure foreshadowed the early '00s revival of post-punk and synth-oriented rock by adding synths to the band's caustic, tense post-punk sound. At the time Trouser Press wrote that "'Rabies (Baby's Got The)' and 'Simian Fever' are animal aggressive and messy, while sharing the synthetic digitone lusts of new wave." And the SF Weekly praised it as "a party record, the kind you slip on at that inevitable point when you want 'certain people' to head home."

And it is Seth Jabour of Les Savy Fav's favorite Six Finger Satellite album! In his words: "I'm always surprised at how much I love it and how important it was to us throughout our development as a band." Severe Exposure is the band's best selling album, and it was recorded by the band at their own studio, The Parlour, in Providence, RI.

Great style; unique; fits well.
Size: Medium, Color: Gray
Love the style and the fit. I get a lot of complements wearing this. With only three buttons, wearing this outdoors in the cold might not be practical. Other than that, I like it. I went back and ordered a second coat but in a different color.

Nice, mid-length trench coat for style and comfort...
Size: X-Large, Color: Black
I like this mid-length trench coat. The seams are good (on the one I got) and the style is perfect for the office, semi-formal occasions and all-around wear. The fit is good, and the only complaint I would have is the sleeves are a bit too short for my long arms.

It’s ok
Size: X-Large, Color: Gray
This jacket is OK. I bought it for my boyfriend because I really like the coat collar but once it got here. The front fits well but I think the back needs a little more tailoring because it kind of sticks out but he really liked it. He said he could put a heavy sweater up under it. That way he can get more ware out of it. It’s OK.
