A near contemporary and rival of Haydn, Leopold Hofmann was held in the highest regard in his native Vienna where he served as Kapellmeister at St Stephens Cathedral, a position to which Mozart might have succeeded had he lived. During the 1760s and early 1770s, the years of his greatest fame and productivity, Hofmann wrote around sixty concertos including at least eight for the violin. Although no documented accounts of Hofmann performing his own violin concertos are known, there can be little doubt that some of these works were composed for his own use. Hofmann's reputation both as a composer of violin music and as a teacher of the instrument stood high in his own lifetime and it would be surprising in the circumstances if he had written nothing to display his talents as a performer. The composer and critic Johann Adam Hiller admired Hofmann's violin writing, preferring his concertos to those of Dittersdorf and his knowledge of the works suggests that they were well known outside Vienna during the 1760s. The paucity of extant copies, however, suggests that they may not have circulated as widely as the composer's symphonies. The present work was advertised in Supplement I (1766) of the Breitkopf Catalogue and is the earliest of Hofmanns violin concertos that can be dated although perhaps not the first work of its kind that he composed. The solo writing is very fine; technically interesting and full of surprise turns, it bears eloquent testimony to Hofmanns mastery of the instrument and his importance as a composer of concertos. Love the look but runs narrow
Size: 7 Toddler, Color: Navy, Size: 7 Toddler, Color: Navy
Obsessed with the navy, it literally goes with everything. Quality is great too, really happy with how they’re made. Super cute too. Only thing is my son has wide feet and they ran a little tight on him. If your toddler is on the wider side, might be worth sizing up. Overall still happy with them!

Snug fit with ease of putting on
Size: 7 Toddler, Color: Navy, Size: 7 Toddler, Color: Navy
These Amazon Essentials hook-and-loop athletic sneakers have been a fantastic everyday shoe for toddlers and little kids. The fit and comfort really stand out. The padded collar and cushioned insole make them comfortable enough for all-day wear, whether that’s running around at school, playing at the park, or just being on the move at home. One of the biggest wins is how easy they are for kids to put on themselves. The hook-and-loop closure combined with the faux elastic laces strikes a great balance between a secure fit and independence, which is a huge plus for busy mornings. They stay snug without being tight and don’t slip off during active play. The materials feel well made for a kid’s sneaker. The faux leather and mesh upper looks sporty and holds up well to daily wear, while the mesh lining helps with breathability. The TPR sole provides good traction and stability, giving a solid, supportive feel without being stiff or heavy. Style-wise, these shoes are versatile and cute. The athletic look with subtle vintage-inspired details works with everything from play clothes to more put-together casual outfits. Overall, these sneakers deliver comfort, durability, and kid-friendly design at a great value. A reliable, no-fuss choice for active little feet.
