Synthetic blend motor oils offer better performance compared to conventional motor oils. Quaker State SAE 5W-30 Synthetic Blend motor oil contains a synthetic base that offers better oxidative stability than conventional oils. It reduces the rate of oxidation and keeps the oil from thickening and losing its original properties, provides better low temperature flow which enables cold-start characteristics and protects against oil oxidation and degradation in extreme heat environments like the combustion chamber and turbochargers. Quaker State SAE 5W-30 Synthetic Blend Motor Oil also helps protect against abnormal combustion phenomenon like low-speed pre-ignition observed in modern turbocharged engines.
