Description:
Cortec® VpCI®-325 is a ready-to-use vegetable oil/solvent-based liquid for general purpose corrosion protection in many applications, such as sheet metals, wire, pipes, flanges, guns and machine parts. VpCI®-325 protects against corrosion and works as an excellent lubricant that performs effectively, even under high humidity and in the presence of corrosive elements. It loosens frozen and rusted metal parts, making them easy to remove. VpCI®-325 is based on a vegetable derived, biodegradable oil. It forms a film on the metal surface and protects in two ways; oil-soluble corrosion inhibitors offer a tenacious film which clings to metal surfaces. It also provides complete water displacement from the metal surface to prevent rust.

How to Use:
Agitate before each use. Spray a light coating on flat metal for temporary storage. Spray on or dip in for small or complex metal parts. For general surface treatment, spray, dip or brush surfaces to be protected for up to 24 months. VpCI®-325 is approved for use as a weldable rust inhibitor on threaded holes and joint abutments.

Typical Applications:
VpCI®-325 is excellent for maintenance, lubrication, temporary storage after metalworking, small or complex metal parts, home repairs of squeaky items and for rifles, shotguns and handguns. Provides rust protection to ferrous metals, galvanized steel, aluminum, brass, copper, zinc, babbitt, cadmium and silver.
