Crafted from swamp ash, the body offers both resonance and clarity, making it well-suited for dynamic playing styles. The steel plate-style bridge is fitted with brass barrel saddles to enhance sustain and add harmonic richness, complementing the natural attack of the ash body. Together, these components form a foundation that works equally well for clean articulation and driven textures.
The maple neck is bolted to the body in the NF 53 profile, striking a balance between vintage comfort and modern precision. Its 25.5" scale length supports defined low-end response, while the 10" radius maple fingerboard with 22 frets ensures consistent playability. PRS-designed tuners with wing buttons provide secure tuning and smooth adjustment.
Finished in Black Doghair, this SE NF 53 offers a bold, grain-enhanced aesthetic that underscores its performance-first construction. Includes a PRS gig bag.
