About the Electron Mini
Easier
The Electron Mini Intelligent Charger makes charging easier than ever. When combined with an EcoPower Intelligent Battery, the Electron Mini will immediately recognize the battery type and will automatically begin charging using the ideal settings. The Intelligent symbol lights up when an Intelligent battery is connected making it easy to identify that auto charging will begin soon and the progress bar clearly indicates the progress. There are only 2 buttons to choose from - Charge or Storage - making it simple to navigate the functions. The charger includes a high power 65W USB-C power supply, which is necessary to achieve the maximum 5A output on batteries from 2S to 4S.
NOTE: It is not recommended to charge a cellphone with the included power adapter.
Safer
This charger can charge LiPo, LiHV, and LiFe battery chemistries, but will not charge NiMh batteries. NiMh charging is not compatible with charging LiPo batteries, so this charger is safer because it eliminates the possibility of charging a LiPo in NiMh mode. Also, the Intelligent charging system can take the guesswork out of charging for those who are just starting out in the hobby.
Smarter
Smart chargers are a great choice for ease of use setup, charging, and balancing. The charger is able to detect the connected battery and determine what parameters need to be set to efficiently charge the optional Intelligent battery. A key benefit to this charger is that it can also charge standard LiPo, LiHV, and LiFe batteries. By monitoring the charging curve, the charger is able to determine what is the proper charger rate to keep non-Intelligent batteries at 1C.
