Starting out with an iconic offset body formed from alder, this double-cutaway, distinctly Californian shape is instantly recognizable and authentically Fender. The choice of alder makes the instrument easily handled and carried, in addition to ensuring its vibrance as a canvas for great tonality. This model’s Modern “C”-shaped maple neck fits easily into the palm for smooth travels from higher to lower registers and is matched with a slab rosewood fingerboard measuring with a radius of 9.5”. Outfitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets, this fingerboard plays smoothly and frets easily for quick trips across its full twenty-four-inch scale length – a classic Jaguar specification.

 Sonically, this Player II Series comes alive with the use of two Player Series Jaguar single-coil pickups, an Alnico 2 in the neck and an Alnico 5 in the bridge.
