The Nymphaea ‘Sioux’ is renowned for its exquisite, star-shaped flowers that undergo a captivating color transformation, opening a soft apricot-yellow and maturing through shades of orange to a rich coppery-red.

Its rounded, medium-green lily pads are often attractively mottled with purple when young, floating gracefully on the water surface and creating a serene and colorful display. They provide good surface cover.

Relatively low maintenance once established, water lilies are perennial, returning year after year to beautify the pond. They are best planted in aquatic baskets filled with appropriate soil.

For best results, plant ‘Sioux’ water lily in a sunny position in still or very slow-moving water, at a depth suitable for the specific variety, to enjoy a profusion of blooms throughout the summer.
