Fun to read aloud, old-school, easy read by Diane DeGroat about classroom friendships, honesty, kindness, and fixing mistakes. K-2nd grade will enjoy.
So many of todayβs childrenβs books lack depth, depend on dumb fart/poop jokes, are tied to tv shows/movies, or overfocus on moralizing and turning kids into little adults. Read for fun with your kids as often as you can! Check out childrenβs authors/illustrators from the 80βs and 90βs!

Entertaining and teaching book

I got this for Valentineβs Day for my 7 year-old grandson. I thought heβd enjoy the book as the title is funny, not βmushy.β He enjoyed reading the book to me, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a lesson on being kind.
