About Mieko Shindo
Mieko Shindo is a fibre artist known for her adorable animal creations. A lifelong crafter, she made her first crochet doll in 2011, which was an amigurumi version of her dog. After making an amigurumi version of her friend's pet as a gift, she started receiving orders and became addicted to making crochet animals. She loves sharing her original techniques for making these special dolls and has published multiple books in Japan and holds workshops regularly.
