Rendered in polished gold finish with vivid polychrome enamel decoration across robes, throne, and regalia, this is a work of substantial presence and meticulous craft.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished in Gold and Polychrome Enamel

Cast using the lost-wax method, this figure captures every considered detail of the Vajrasattva form: the gold-polished skin and ornaments, the five-point panchaloha crown, layered jewelled necklaces, armlets, and elaborate earrings. The right hand holds a vajra sceptre at the chest; the left rests at the hip holding a ghanta bell. The serene forward-facing expression and urna forehead mark are rendered with precision. Across the robes and throne, cloisonné-style polychrome enamel in red, green, blue, and orange creates a depth of surface decoration rarely seen in bronze figurative work. The multi-tiered lotus pedestal features painted petal designs, flame motifs at the sides, a Greek-key meander border band in gold on black, and a flat dark circular base. At 200kg and 250cm, the sculpture commands its setting without concession.
