Lovely, stand alone piece. Super useful for melting chocolate or sauce making, sabayon, custard. Suitable also for all sugar work - versatile pan.
It is a fairly large pan, the patina is exceptional, this is a super heavy, high quality, professional copper and steel pan. The handle has holes for heat dissipation.
It is made from 1.8mm copper.
It is perfect for a patisserie or bakers - jam, fridge jam or preserves shop.
This could be used over a bain mairie or on a range with a ring hob, it will take direct heat for melting sugar and it will melt chocolate over a bain marie - a truly versatile lovely, late 20th century patissieres pan.
The pan is 16cm across and the steel skirt is 18cm wide this will fit in a 18cm pan on a cooking hob with no problem to melt chocolate - ideal for a domestic and well as professional stove.
Heritage on your range, or shelf or anywhere - this is gorgeous to look at and would look fabulous in your kitchen setting.
There are minor scratches all over the pan. The interior is in good condition. All what you would expect, all authentic.
It is 16cm across approximately 6 1/4 inches and is 9.5 cm deep approximately 3 3/4 inches, it weighs 1.39 kilos, 3 lbs 1.3 ozs.
