The Music Man StingRay Special 5 sports a roasted maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard finished with gunstock oil and a hand-rubbed wax for premium playability. The 5-bolt sculpted neck joint provides stability and access to all 22 stainless steel frets. And improved contours, lighter hardware, and lighter body wood selection resulted in over a one-pound weight reduction from previous StingRay models.
