Waterslide Ceramic Decals – Perfect for Enamel, Glass & Ceramic Overglaze
Enhance your artistic creations with high-quality waterslide ceramic decals! These decals feature a clear background for seamless blending and are designed to adhere beautifully to enamel, glass, and ceramic surfaces.

How to Use Waterslide Decals
1. Preparation
✔️ Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
✔️ Cut the decal to the desired shape, leaving a small border.
2. Soaking in Water
✔️ Submerge the decal in lukewarm water for 30-60 seconds until it starts sliding off the backing.
3. Application
✔️ Place the decal on the surface while still on the backing paper.
✔️ Gently slide the decal onto the surface using your finger or a soft tool.
4. Smoothing & Positioning
✔️ Use a soft cloth or sponge to remove air bubbles and excess water.
✔️ Ensure the decal is smooth and properly aligned.
5. Drying
✔️ Let the decal dry for several hours or follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
✔️ Ensure the surface is completely dry before firing.
6. Firing Instructions
Follow the recommended firing temperature based on your surface type:
🔹 Enamel:
• Kiln firing – 785°C (1445°F) for 1 minute
• Torch firing – Heat gently until the decal changes color, then continue until it fuses with the enamel background.
🔹 Glass:
• Heat from 20°C (68°F) to 590°C (1094°F), then increase to 640°C (1184°F) over 4 hours.
• Hold at this temperature for 25-30 minutes, then cool down.
🔹 Ceramic (Overglaze Decals):
• Heat from 20°C (68°F) to 785°C (1445°F) in 60 minutes (or as quickly as the kiln allows).
• Hold at 785°C (1445°F) for 15 minutes, then cool down.
