The Function mid back gas lift chair with adjustable height folding arms is a comprehensive range of operator chairs aimed at the professional or home market upholstered in NHS quality vinyl or hard wearing fabric. The chairs are manufactured in the UK and have a 5 year warranty based on an 8 hour usage. The addition of stylish adjustable height folding arms gives added support to the user and the adjustment available means the arms can be positioned for tall or shorter users or lowered enough to fit under a standard desk. At their lowest position the arms are 190mm above the seat and at their highest 255mm above the seat. However they can be rotated backwards using a simple push button meaning the chair is effectively arm free.
Using black hard wearing components, the office chair is easy to clean using stardard cleaning products and NHS strength chlorine solutions. All chairs are fitted with a Class 4 gas stem which is rated upto 25 stone / 150 kg maximum usage. The ergonomic gas lift design uses 2 levers to easily adjust height (from 475 to 605mm) and back rest tilt plus a thumbwheel to adjust back height. With 3 way adjustment a comfortable seating position can be obtained.
When covered in crease free vinyl upholstery a CRIB 5 contract fire retardancy is created. The vinyl is ideal for NHS, GP Practice and Healthcare establishments as it is easy to clean and wipe down. 9 colourful finished are available as standard but other colours are available on request. The foam is firm and designed for extended sag free use meaning the chair will remain as a comfortable and supportive item for years after purchase.
When upholstered in crease free fabric a colourful and none sweat surface is created that is ideal for office or home use and gives a flammability rating tested to EN1021 – 1&2 Cigarette and Match BS7176 low hazard.
Aspiration Life offers 4 different castor choices. Standard hard none marking castors (SC), ideal for carpets; brake loaded castors (BLC) which applies internal brakes when the chair is sat on; brake unloaded castors (BUC) which applies internal brakes when the chair is not sat on; anti-static castors (ASC) which help reduce static buildup on vinyl floors
