LE TONNANT WOOD SHIP MODEL KIT BY COREL
This reproduction of a 1793 French corsair is everything you"d expect from Corel, and more! Frames and keel are laser cut from high quality plywood, and pre-shaped wooden formers assure correct hull curvature. Hull planking consists of two layers of individual strips. First, you"ll cover the framework with flexible limewood, and over-plank it with beautiful walnut. All fittings are pre-finished and ready to use. Dark walnut blocks, belaying pins and gun carriages provide a pleasant contrast to lighter boxwood blocks, trim, and cherry gratings. A variety of metal fittings include brass nails, chain and eyelets, cast metal cleats and anchors, plus realistically burnished metal cannon and falconets. Two photo-etched brass sheets complete the ornamentation. An instruction book with complete parts list supplements four sheets of detailed plans. Wooden display cradle is also included.
